ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Friday night saw one of the biggest acts yet to play at the new Dena'ina Center, with two shows this weekend.

Multi-platinum recording group Korn arrived in Anchorage Friday, with a second show added to its schedule after the first one sold out. This is the band's first time playing in Alaska.

"We've never been to Alaska," said Fieldy, Korn's bassist. "And when we flew here, I didn't even look and I was like, ‘Man, it's going to be a long flight.' And it's not even that long to fly up here, and it's like, ‘Wow, we've never been up here?' I don't even know why or for what reason, because it's sold out two nights in a row. Hopefully we'll be back soon."

Saturday's show is completely sold out.
